 Matthew W. Lovell, DVM — Veterinarian
Dr. Lovell is a 1984 graduate of the Ohio State University. After graduation, he worked for one year near his hometown, in Kentucky, in a mixed practice. In 1985, he moved to northeastern Ohio and worked in an equine practice for almost 9 years. In 1994, he moved to middle Tennessee and established Lovell Equine Clinic. Dr. Lovell is a member of the American Association of Equine Practioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association, Middle Tennessee Academy of Equine Practitioners and the American Quarter Horse Association. He has bred horses for many years and now enjoys riding. |
 Jean Lovell, Office Manager
Jean is a 1987 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a BS in elementary education. Since moving to Tennessee in 1994, she has worked with her husband as Lovell Equine Clinic has grown. |
 Laura Keefe, Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant
2003 graduate of Midway College with a degree in Equine Equitation Instruction and Equine Business management. While in college she showed for Midway’s Intercollegiate Horse Show Association riding team in both hunt seat and western divisions. Laura has worked at a hunter/jumper barn in KY training and giving lessons. She also worked at a thoroughbred farm in KY foal watching and prepping yearlings for sales. She has ridden horses for 18 yrs and has show experience in Eventing, dressage, hunters, jumpers and games. Laura has worked for Lovell Equine Clinic since April 2006. |
 Sarah McKee, Weekend Veterinary Assistant
A 2007 graduate from MTSU with a degree in Animal Science and a concentration in Equine Science. She was a member of both the horse judging team and the equestrian team. She competed in the western division of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. She was active in Sumner County’s 4-H program through high school. Sarah has worked for Lovell Equine Clinic since March 2008. |
 Zelicia Cutrer, Weekend Receptionist
Zelicia has a degree in computer programming. She has worked in accounting for over 30 years. She has owned and cared for horses for most of her life. Zelicia has worked at Lovell Equine Clinic since 2001. |
